The future of a species is not difficult to determine. You take the entire History since the species began, and extrapolate it out as far as can go, basing the outcome on the characteristic’s exhibited from the beginning of the species. Perhaps in a Million years, or before, but at some point the Human species of Earth is going to be a big problem in the Universe.
